Job Description

The Capital District Child Care Council is a non-for-profit agency looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to educate child care providers on health and safety issues, the administration of medications, and the development of a child care program’s health care plan. This individual will provide technical assistance to program staff on health related illnesses and the special health care needs of children in a child care setting.

Requirements: Applicants must have a valid NYS Registered Nurse license with pediatric experience preferred. Public speaking, training, mentoring, and/or coaching experience for adults are a plus. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally within the six county regions covered by the Council.

Salary range: $ 47,000 to $50,000
