Learning Differences Support Program Coordinator

Southern Vermont College is in search of a Coordinator of its Learning Differences Support Program (LDSP). The LDSP Coordinator will hold a Master's degree in a recognized area of academic study related to disability services, such as Special Education, Psychology, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Social Work or a similar field. This position reports to the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring reasonable accommodations and support services for students with a disability registered in the LDS Program. The Coordinator is also expected to provide outreach and programming opportunities that support faculty and staff in their work with individuals with disabilities. In addition to a Master's degree, the candidate should have at least three years of experience supporting young adults with disabilities in an academic setting, be familiar with IEPs and 504 Plans, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
