The Nurse Supervisor will supervise the agency’s Maternal Child Health programs, provide consultative and technical assistance on MCH issues, and serves as a liaison to community partners and internal cross-purpose teams in support of the Snohomish Health District (SHD) endeavors. Work is characterized by supervisory, technical and skilled maintenance tasks such as: efficiently scheduling, assigning, organizing, planning, and reporting on responsibilities, as well as training, supervising, evaluating, disciplining, and approving/scheduling leave time of assigned employees; coordinating the program work to ensure that it is performed efficiently and effectively; coordinating projects; and attending meetings relevant to the area of responsibility. Incumbent participates in the 24/7 communicable disease after-hours rotation.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in nursing. Four (4) years of progressively responsible and relevant professional Public Health experience, including two (2) years of Maternal-Child Health or closely related field, and a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/management experience. Valid Washington State Registered Nurse License.
Compensation: The salary range for the Nurse Supervisor is $67,524 to $99,768 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package. Placement in the salary range will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and salary history.

Participation with the Department of Retirement Systems retirement (PERS) is mandatory. Annual leave is earned at the rate of 12 days per year during the first year and increases with the length of service; sick leave is earned at the rate of 12 days per year; 10 paid holidays per year plus 5 personal holidays.
