Clinic LVN - Immediate Care Clinic

LVN to work at the Immediate Care Center - 3 shifts per week. Will also learn how to manage the front desk for cross-training. Provide and document direct nursing care of patients under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice provider. Nursing care is guided by office policies and procedures, physician orders, and standing orders. Participation in identifying clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and participation in performance improvement activities. Order entry for outpatient and inpatient procedures, as requested by physicians or advanced practice providers. Performance of other duties within the scope of LVN practice as assigned by the Hill Country Memorial Medical Group leadership team.

Job Requirements:

Education: Sufficient to take and pass the Texas Board of Licensed Vocational Nursing State Licensure examination. 

Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

• Effective communication skills to facilitate interactions with patients, providers, and office staff
• Demonstration of excellent English communication, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of computer/software applications

Licenses/Certifications:  Current state of Texas LVN License and BLS
