This fulltime Clinical Supervisor coordinates clinical staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage; approves or denies leave requests. Maintains Kronos timesheets and completes the bi-weekly sign off according to defined deadlines.
Assists MAs to complete assigned clinical competencies. Provides real time or just in time training and clinical guidance as needed. Assesses clinical workflows; identifies and implements best practices that promote standardization throughout the organization. Participates in departmental LEAN projects, compliance audits and quality monitors. Provides direct patient care on a limited and emergent basis only to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Collaborates with Providers on activities and projects related to direct patient care and participates in provider department meetings. Provides timely feedback to Practice Managers, Directors, Clinical Educator and Leads regarding staff performance and departmental concerns. Involves them in discussions and planning prior to implementing changes. Oversees management of department medication stocks and monitors compliance with medication administration. Collaborates with community health organizations and health care providers across the organization. Responds to Emergency Code calls. Complies with all SRH/SRC policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
Desired Job Experience: Previous supervisory experience; two years experience in an ambulatory clinical setting preferred.
License/Certification: Current Washington State RN license and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required
